Wikis in Class
April 22nd, 2008Hello everyone! I want to share with you some information that may be of great help. I’m a History teacher. I’ve always been looking for some ways of improving my lessons. I think it is very important to develop my teaching skills every day, because when you don’t develop, you start to degrade. So I’m always in search of some new information that can help to make the process of teaching more efficient and interesting. So not so long ago one of my colleagues told me about wetpaint.com. I visited this site and all the advantages using free wikis became clear to me. You know, it is very important to keep in touch with parents. But sometimes it is not very convenient to phone them. So now this problem is solved – they may write me some words and get to know all they want! My pupils can also share any information and find new friends. With the help of this free website the atmosphere in my class became more relaxed. To create a Wetpaint Wiki is extremely simple, and now even the laziest of my pupils have them. So I really want to thank this site for my pupils’ progress!
