Non-traditional Universities
April 16th, 2008Each year traditional universities and colleges are crowded with foreign students. These universities and colleges suggest living in dormitories, social clubs, athletic teams, food services and a variety of optional activities. It is understandable why lots of international students enter these American universities and colleges.
But also these are the nontraditional universities. Although, such university or college suggests identical level of academic quality, they vary from the traditional universities in many ways.
The majority of their learners are employed full-time that’s why they attend their classes mainly in the evenings. The usual age of the students is about thirties. The expressiveness is placed on the practical request of the educational matter, reaching a strong mixture of practice and theory.
For foreign students who want to gain a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a short period of time the nontraditional university is the best alternative.
Such institutions function throughout the year, that’s why lessons can be taken constantly, though students may leave as needed.
The institutions that recruit foreign students identify the need to provide the students with supply that their working students may not need. An International Student can provide facilities for recreational activities: club sports and different social events.
